When the Federal Government announced in June 2004 that Super Choice would be coming, we jumped at the chance to design and deliver a Super product that would be easy to understand, and without all the complex fees that were pretty standard across the industry.

In May 2003 we launched the Virgin Credit Card in Australia. No annual fee… ever, super low rates, Mates Rates instant rewards and a choice of five card colours - all supported by our award winning Customer Care Team available 24/7.
Our record breaking launch generated 50,000 applications in the first week, and to date we have 600,000 customers with a shiny Virgin Credit Card in their wallet.
